Is It Beach Day is built by Built on the Beach LLC. The short version: your data is yours, it stays on your device wherever possible, and we don't sell it, share it, or track you. Details below.

Location

Is It Beach Day uses your location (if you allow it) to find beaches near you. You can also browse beaches without sharing location.

What we collect & where it lives

Your saved beaches and notification preferences. If you enable push notifications, a device token is stored to deliver your alerts — it is not linked to your identity.

Third-party services

Forecast data comes from public weather services. Only beach coordinates are sent to retrieve conditions.

Ads & tracking

No ads, no analytics SDKs, no trackers.

Children's privacy

Is It Beach Day does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices & data deletion

Because your data is stored on your device, deleting the app deletes your data. You can revoke any permission (such as location or notifications) at any time in your device's Settings. For any privacy request, email isitbeachday@builtonthebeach.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Is It Beach Day handles data, we will update this page before the change ships and revise the date below.
