Privacy Policy — Landfall

Landfall is built by Built on the Beach LLC. The short version: your data is yours, it stays on your device wherever possible, and we don't sell it, share it, or track you. Details below.

Location

Landfall uses your location to show your evacuation zone, nearby shelters, and local storm conditions. Location is processed on your device and is never sold or shared with third parties.

What we collect & where it lives

Your prep checklists, family plan, and home details are stored on your device (and in your personal iCloud/Google account if you enable backup). We do not operate accounts and cannot see this data.

Third-party services

Weather, tide, and evacuation data come from public government sources (NOAA, NHC, FEMA, state emergency agencies). Requests to these services include only the coordinates needed to return local data. If you use the optional home inspection analysis feature, the document you choose is processed transiently by our secure cloud service to generate your report and is not stored after processing.

Ads & tracking

Landfall contains no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no trackers.

Children's privacy

Landfall does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices & data deletion

Because your data is stored on your device, deleting the app deletes your data. You can revoke any permission (such as location or notifications) at any time in your device's Settings. For any privacy request, email landfall@builtonthebeach.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Landfall handles data, we will update this page before the change ships and revise the date below.
